1st July 2026
As part of our ongoing commitment to strengthening community healthcare and promoting mental wellness, Chance 2 Mental Wellness and Recovery Hub Ghana Foundation paid a follow-up visit to the Konkonuru Community Health Centre on 1st July 2026 to donate additional medical supplies in support of the facility’s healthcare services.
This latest donation builds on our previous support for the health centre and reflects our continued dedication to improving access to quality healthcare for underserved communities. The medical supplies were warmly received by the facility’s management and healthcare professionals, who expressed their sincere appreciation for the contribution and its positive impact on healthcare delivery within the Konkonuru community.
This initiative was made possible through the generous support of our valued donors, sponsors, and partners. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Organization of International Development, Inc. (OID) for donating the medical supplies, Delta Air Lines for providing complimentary transportation of two suitcases containing the donated items from Jamaica to Ghana, and Cornwall Enterprise Ltd. for its invaluable support throughout this humanitarian initiative. Their partnership continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of the people and communities we serve.
During our visit, we were delighted to witness the remarkable transformation of the Konkonuru Community Health Centre since our previous engagement. Significant improvements have been made, including the installation of new doors and windows, repaired and freshly painted walls, upgraded ceilings, new appliances, and other essential renovations. These enhancements have greatly improved the facility’s environment and its capacity to provide quality healthcare services.
At Chance 2, we are encouraged by the progress made and remain committed to collaborating with community stakeholders to strengthen healthcare systems, promote mental wellness, and improve the overall well-being of vulnerable populations.
Chance 2 representatives at the presentation included:
- Mrs. Janet Symister Beckford – CEO & President
- Chief Trevor Lloyd Beckford – Treasurer

Together, we continue to build healthier communities through compassion, collaboration, and service.
